The mind and the body are very closely linked and affect one another. So, the Mind-Body Connection is the relationship between a persons thoughts, feelings, behaviors and their physical health. Its also known as the brain body connection.
HOW'S IT WORK?
The brain and the body are connected by neural pathways that transmit signals. And when the brain's physiology changes, it can change our mental state. For example, anxiety causes the body to produce stress hormones. Our thoughts, feelings, beliefs and attitudes can positively affect our biology functioning.
